On August 1, 2025, the second MR tanker WECO SENNA, built by Jinglu shipyard for Hartree Partners, was officially delivered. During the ceremony, Wang Hong, Party Secretary and General Manager of Jinglu shipyard, and Panteleimon Sofiadis, the on-site manager from Hartree Partners, jointly signed the delivery documents, marking another successful milestone in their collaboration. The event was witnessed by the Hartree Partners construction team, Wang Wenliang, the ABS on-site manager and surveyor, as well as relevant personnel from Jinglu Shipyard.
The vessel features a double bottom and double hull structure, with 20 cargo and oil tanks, each equipped with an independent electric cargo pump, allowing the simultaneous transportation of various types of cargo. The cargo tanks are coated with MarineLine 784, enabling the transportation of highly corrosive cargo such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid. The ship utilizes green and environmentally friendly technologies, including SCR systems, desulfurization towers, and shaft generators, significantly reducing emissions of nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, and carbon dioxide. This combination enhances both the vessel's energy efficiency and environmental performance, demonstrating the innovative advantages of this type of vessel in both technical configuration and practical application.
Meeting deadlines is a standard, but early delivery exceeds expectations. The delivery of WECO SENNA was completed 183 days ahead of schedule. Jinglu shipyard has demonstrated its commitment to the customer-first philosophy through its actions, greatly enhancing customer satisfaction and trust, and reinforcing its high-quality brand image in the shipbuilding industry.
