Demonstrating Strength with Early Delivery! Jinglu Shipyard Successfully Delivers MR Chemical Tanker VENUS 9


On September 23, 2025, Jinglu shipyard held the delivery and naming ceremony for the MR chemical tanker VENUS 9, built for Tianjin Fanjia Taihe Leasing Co., Ltd. Wang Hong, General Manager of Jinglu shipyard, and Li Chuanqiang, Chairman of Shandong Fanjia Enterprise Operation Management Co., Ltd., jointly signed the delivery documents, marking the successful completion of the new shipbuilding project. Godmother Wang Mingli named the vessel and performed the bottle-breaking ceremony, while fireworks were set off to wish for the VENUS 9 and her crew to sail smoothly around the world with safety and success!
The successful delivery of VENUS 9 is a strong testament to the win-win cooperation between Jinglu shipyard and Tianjin Fanjia Taihe Leasing Co., Ltd. Delivered 311 days ahead of schedule, it adds a layer of efficiency and reliability to the partnership. This ship is a new generation MR chemical tanker built by Jinglu shipyard, with a length of 183.1 meters, a beam of 32.2 meters, and a designed draft of 11.0 meters. It has 20 cargo holds and can simultaneously transport 20 types of goods, including highly corrosive items like hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid. It belongs to the high-end international standard ship type.
Technically, it is equipped with SCR environmental protection equipment to reduce nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, and carbon dioxide emissions, as well as lower fuel consumption and improve maneuverability. Additionally, the ship has been awarded the methanol dual-fuel readiness class notation [Methanol Fuel Ready Level 2D(TA, BK, FS, ME, AB), 3(S)], allowing room for future use of green fuels and contributing to the industry's green and low-carbon development.
